They have integral screws and glass-fibre reinforcement and are simply screwed to the steel chassis of your mini-excavator. The steel plates are usually predrilled in the factory, the pads are fully compatible. A "FELASTEC®-coating" is used when your plant is being operated more or less exclusively on ground which must be protected. We give your steel plates a permanent coating in our factory. And what`s more, used steel plates can also be coated. If necessary, we remove any remaining plastic before processing. "FELASTEC®-quick-change pads" are employed when your plant has to operate on ground which must be protected but, at the same time, is very abrasive. By using our simple quick-change system, your plant is quickly adapted to the particular conditions. The pad is simply pulled tightly over your steel baseplate. Our "screw-on FELASTEC®-pads" represent an alternative to coatings. In this case the pad is screwed to the drilled steel plate. Reordering is simpler because the steel plates do not need to be transported and there is no plastic residue to be removed. The "flexible FELASTEC®-pad" is a pure synthetic sheet with glass-fibre reinforcement which can withstand dynamic loads. The steel plate is omitted in this case in order to reduce the weight of your chassis as much as possible (up to 60 %). The associated reduction in ground bearing pressure allows your plant to be deployed on very marshy ground. The stability of the plate is not affected by wear.
